The man behind Pure Filth Sound, Sam "XL" Robson, sits down with host Scott Ramsay to discuss his ConcertZero. Plus, if you've got a billion dollars laying around, Sam has an idea that's off the charts. Growing up in the UK, in the 70's and 80's, it's no big surprise that Sam got into the punk scene but you'll be shocked to hear what his ConcertZero was. Here's a hint: you need to read between the "white" lines to get the "message".

He's been involved with music since the age of 12 and now he's an accomplished bassist, music engineer, producer and composer. Rob Nagelhout (robnagelhout.com) joins host Scott Ramsay to talk about his ConcertZero, backstage access and NBC's "American Song Contest". We won't give away his ConcertZero but Rob did get an inside look at two legendary rock bands.

The final member of Snakes Of Joy, Lester Lands (@lesterlands), sits down with host Scott Ramsay to reminisce about his ConcertZero. After that, the other two members of Snakes Of Joy, Gregg Sutton (@greggsutton) and Ryan Hedgecock (@rattlesnakedaddy), discuss their new musical project, how they met and the connection the trio had from the start. Gregg Sutton has been in the music business for almost 50 years. Needless to say, he has a hundreds of stories. Host Scott Ramsay and Gregg talk about his ConcertZero, which happens to be a band that Gregg would work with many years later. Gregg also tells a great story about seeing Jimi Hendrix in NYC. He also gives some great advice for aspiring musicians and mentions the one band that he would have loved to have seen live.

Musician, songwriter and producer Ryan Hedgecock's ConcertZero is one that most music lovers, especially fans of rock, would be envious of. The founder of the bands Lone Justice, Bedrock and Parlor James saw Led Zeppelin, at the Fabulous Forum, in 1975. Ryan, along with Gregg Sutton and Lester Lands, have a new musical endeavor that you'll hear all about it in future episodes (as well as Gregg and Lester's ConcertZeros).

Brian Burrescia and Dusty Moon (@the.dustymoon) have begun working on a new musical project and it's B.A.D. (Brian & Dusty before you think we're being too harsh). They joined Scott Ramsay in-studio to discuss their ConcertZeros. We also play a track from Brian's first band, Take Five. It's a cover of The Beatles track "Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me and My Monkey".

Chief Operating Officer at VOX DJ's, Ricky Hayes, didn't want to label his music tastes as "eclectic" but we will. His first concert was American punk band The Bouncing Souls. Two of his most favorite shows are Garth Brooks and the show "I Am the Highway: A Tribute to Chris Cornell", which featured dozens of artists including Metallica, Miley Cyrus and Dave Grohl. With that kind of musical taste, you'll have to hear the bands he wished he would have seen.

Kristopher "KC" Campbell, owner of VOX DJ's, went to see Pearl Jam for his first ConcertZero. There was only one problem, he and his friend arrived as the iconic band was signing off but it still counts. KC has seen many concerts since then and lists Coldplay and The Backstreet Boys as a few of his favorites. He also tells a hilarious story, to host Scott Ramsay, that he once used Scott's company name to get into a show. (Yes...Scott Ramsay does have a day job)

Host Scott Ramsay coined Bob Hughes as the "Staging Guru To The Stars" but he should be called "The Man With The Music Stories". Bob, whose day job is Vice President at All Access Staging & Productions, has a great story about his ConcertZero, where he used his height to his benefit. (a few others benefited too) Bob has worked with numerous artists in his career but tells Scott about the special relationship he had with Van Halen.

Rodney Pino, drummer for numerous bands including No Duh - The Ultimate Tribute To No Doubt, believes his ConcertZero was the legendary progressive rock band Yes but it could've been classic rock behemoth Led Zeppelin. Rodney also tells host Scott Ramsay that his first gig was at a famous California theme park and you'll have to hear who his favorite live band is. Rodney is also the owner of Grooveworks Studios. Comedian, podcaster and comic book writer Daniel Lobell (@daniellobell) joins Scott Ramsay to discuss his ConcertZero as well as his favorite concert. Daniel's grandparents took Daniel to his first concert, which was legendary composer John Williams. You'll find out that comedy was in his blood at an early age. That may be his ConcertZero but his favorite was none other than The Beatles drummer, playing with his All-Star Band.

The VOX founder and President, Shawn Sedlacek, tells Scott Ramsay that the first concert he remembers seeing was the legendary drummer, Buddy Rich, at Disneyland but he doesn't consider that his ConcertZero. The first concert that had a major influence on his life was Journey's "Escape Tour", in November of 1981, at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. Barbara and Mike Guidry joined host Scott Ramsay to discuss their ConcertZeros. Barbara saw The Jacksons while Mike went to the Day On The Green Festival, in 1979, that featured a stellar lineup. Barbara also tells Scott about her favorite concert, which was Prince, and even got to meet the late superstar. If you're a fan of live music, you have to check out the Avaline Music Festival that Barbara & Mike host at their ranch, every other May.

Host Scott Ramsay's longtime friend, Jim Harrington, had three amazing music stories, one being his ConcertZero, so Scott had to bring him in. For his ConcertZero, Jim saw Eric Burdon and the Animals, at the Shrine Auditorium, in the 60's. Speaking of the 60's, Jim sat second row for Jimi Hendrix, at The Forum, and may or may not have bootlegged that concert. Jim also tells a great story about a young Boston based band performing at Cal Jam in 1978.

Project Barley General Manager Zhanine Luttrell-Robie, or Zha to her friends and family, can give Martin Gore a run for his money. Her first concert was Depeche Mode and she gladly gives host Scott Ramsay her rendition of their hit, "Somebody". There's also an hilarious story about an accent that you have to hear. Zha also tells Scott that her dream concert, without question, would be Elvis.

Sophia Viggiano (@sophiaviggiano), Hudson Ritchie (@huddaddy) & Nathan Freedman (@namdeerf_nathan), from the band Sophia & Hudson, have the three best venues of any guests that Scott Ramsay has had on ConcertZero. Sophia saw her first show at The Roxy. Hudson saw his at the legendary Hollywood Bowl and Nathan saw his first concert at the even more legendary Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO.

Host Scott Ramsay is joined by Jason Carver and Brent Reger, two of the founding members of the Hermosa Beach band Barley. Jason got a late start to the live music scene, his first concert was the Dave Mathews Band, when he was 19. Brent didn't wait that long, he saw Rush way before he could drive. Host Scott Ramsay and Kevin Deighton, Senior Vice President New Product Development and Product Management at Pelican Products, Inc., have a fascinating conversation about the music scene in the north of England in the early 80's. Kevin's ConcertZero was The Only Ones & The Teardrop Explodes. Neither band had major commercial success in America but that event got Kevin to see over 200 shows in the UK. There are a few bands that he mentions that you'll recognize.

Growing up as the son of a musician, Los Angeles based singer/songwriter Evan Brown has always had music in his life. Not counting seeing his father's band, Evan chose The Offspring as his first concert. It's a "teen angst" thing.
