Hey everyone! Sorry for the late delivery on this episode, but with the holiday weekend and all the festivities in getting ready for my short trip and still attending work and my classes, I got a little behind in editing. Today we discussed the importance of getting yourself away from environments with a very "black and white" and "Inside the box" way of thinking. The beauty of spirituality is that it can mean something different for everyone! Gate keepers, guru's and organized religion sometimes have a way of making us feel like we don't belong, or our feelings and beliefs aren't valid, or that we have to be a certain way in order to gain their acceptance but I am here to tell you that if you are kind and have good intentions in all that you do, there is no "right or wrong" answer to what you should or shouldn't choose to believe in. The world is your oyster, and no matter what you choose to believe, there will always be people in your corner cheering you on and respecting your right to be unapologetically you! Hey everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the show! Today we talk about some of the exciting changes coming to the show and also discuss the importance of giving ourselves a break from some of the things we love and have committed to in order to avoid burn out or any other negative effects of over exposure. All too often we set the bar too high for ourselves and then we beat ourselves up when we miss the mark. It is important to find self-discipline while also giving yourself a little creative freedom to deter from your plan every now and then. if you're to the point where you're strong enough in your habits and routine to take a break without a few days turning into falling off the wagon entirely, view it as a celebration of how far you have come! If you're not strong enough in the patterns you have set, give yourself a little time to prove you trust in yourself to proceed after small breaks before you take any. AKA, if you're only 3 days into implementing better eating habits, it might not be the greatest time to throw in cheat day just yet.
