Welcome to our audio drama podcast series, Drum Run. Season 1: Episode 6, The End Of The Road. As our five Drum Runners reach the destination point, Bishop clues them in on their new reality. They must figure out al alternate path forward to survive in the climate ravaged world outside the walls of the Estate. Welcome to our audio drama podcast Drum Run, Season 1: Episode 5, entitled "The Murder of Baron Starr." As our episode begins, our five Drum Runners are on day two of their seven day mission impossible. They are driving the stolen Ford 150 truck, hoping to reach their destination point before they run out of gas. Two hours into their journey, the run headlong into a flash flood and narrowly escape with their lives. The following day, they have a run in with an 88 mercenary, who tries to run them off the road. Their truck smashes into a tree and they must quickly plot their escape as a convoy of 88s makes their way to the location. Against all hope, they manage to strong arm a hover drive from the 88s and continue on their long journey westward. Episode 4, The Ranch: The Drum Runners wake on their second day outside The Estate. When they see faint smoke rising over a nearby mountain, the five-some follow the trail to a picturesque ranch. Inside, they find eight beautiful women, one of whom Farrah once knew from The Estate. Camille and Susie show them the barn, which holds a non-functioning 2045 custom Ford 150. After extensive snooping, they find the battery cables and Ford is able to get the truck running again. The Drum Runners borrow the truck and head west toward their destination point.

Run For Your Lives: our seven "Third Estaters" sprint toward The Estate's perimeter line, where they engage in a violent and bloody melee with the Ravagers. When the dust settles, we learn that Jax has been killed and Cruz left badly wounded. The Drum Runners give up two of their backpacks to negotiate for safe passage. They walk for hours before they receive the instructions and discover that their destination point is 792 miles away. After another five mile slog through the snow, they eventually come upon a deserted western town where they take shelter for the night. Late into the night, while Ford and Farrah are on watch, two local 88s discover their location. Better Help Advertisement

Welcome to our audio drama fiction podcast Drum Run, Season One Episode 2 entitled, "Meeting Is Such Sweet Sorrow." We as fade in, Ford and Tye are delivered to the outbound holding facility, where they meet Farrah, Roxie, Ace, Cruz, and Jax. These seven "Third Estaters" are scheduled to be removed from The Estate the following day. Bishop the jailer makes the introductions and then we hear the details of the Drum Run via holovid from Ellis Hargrove. That night at dinner, the seven Drum Runners discuss the chances of success, which seem slim at best. Early the next morning, amidst a polar vortex weather system, the Drum Runners are escorted outside the walls. Cold and scared, they walk along a concrete border, carefully not to step into the electrified fields. One hundred and fifty years in the future, a walled city called The Estate lies in the forests of Montana. Some 100,000 people live inside the walls, and have all the food, water, services, resources, entertainment, and creature comforts that anyone could ever want. Within the Estate, there are three strongly defined castes. The First Estate is the made up of the ultra rich that bought into the society. The Second Estate is made up of the professional classes: doctors, engineers, hydrologists, etc. The Third Estate is essentially the hired help. Many in the Third Estate are smart and attractive as the First Estate have their pick of the "best of the rest." As our story begins, Ford Hilliard, 18 years old, is at the beginnings of a relationship with Marie Hargrove, 21, the daughter of the most powerful person in The Estate. That night we learn that Baron Starr, a member of the powerful Council of Ten, is murdered at his fancy mansion. The next day, Ford and his older roommate, Brent, are scooped by the Estate Police and charged with the accessory to murder of Baron Starr.

One hundred and fifty years in the future, climate change has ravaged much of the planet, except for a small band of land across the northern section of the United States. Before the world went to hell, the ultra rich built a walled city in the forests of Montana and named it "The Estate." Inside the walls, those of the First Estate have all the creature comforts you could ever ask for. Those in the Third Estate are the hired help -- young, smart and attractive -- and with little to no privileges or rights. Rule violations by anyone not in the First Estate results in banishment, although everyone is given one last chance in the form of a 7 day suicide mission known as a "Drum Run." The first season of Drum Run follows 7 Third Estaters as they battle polar vortexes, flash floods, ravagers and armed mercenary groups in their quest to accomplish the Drum Run. Mission success allows them re-entry into the walled city. Failure insures their banishment forever.
