Doug and Max speak with Zach Robinson (D/A/D, Cobra Kai composer) commemorating the ten year anniversary of D/A/D's release of The Construct (HAUSMO 12 - 2013). https://dadmusic.bandcamp.com/album/the-construct Zach Robinson is an LA based composer and music producer. Zach is most known for co-composing the score to the mega-hit Netflix series Cobra Kai, of which he has scored all five seasons with friend and collaborator Leo Birenberg. Along with Leo, he most recently scored Weird: The Al Yankovic Story starring Daniel Radcliffe, the hit Peacock series Bumper in Berlin based off the Pitch Perfect film franchise, the Netflix limited series, Florida Man, and the upcoming Peacock series Twisted Metal based off the renowned video game franchise. Zach has multiple musical projects in parallel to his composing career. His 1980's inspired electronic music project, D/A/D, is considered one of the most accomplished in the synthwave genre and has received accolades from Pitchfork and NPR. In 2019, Zach released an EP of rockabilly songs under the band name Ventura Dives.

Doug and Max from Hausu Mountain speak with Jon Leidecker (Wobbly) about his new album "Additional Kids" out now. San Francisco-based multimedia artist, composer, and improviser Jon Leidecker makes music under the pseudonym Wobbly. He is an active member of both the seminal experimental group Negativland, and with the Thurston Moore Group. Over the course of a varied musical practice that began in the mid-1980s, Wobbly has collaborated with artists including Matmos, Dieter Moebius (Cluster), Jennifer Walshe, Fred Frith, Tim Story, Cheryl E. Leonard, Zeena Parkins, and People Like Us. Leidecker has released recordings on labels like Illegal Art, Important Records, Bureau B, and Tigerbeat6. After contributing extensively to Negativland’s live-mix radio program Over The Edge, spearheaded by the late Don Joyce and broadcast from Berkeley’s KPFA FM, Leidecker inherited the program in 2015.
